I've been told to lay-off the butterfly posts for a bit and get back to the cocktails (thank you for the intervention, Mindy) - so here's a recipe for a Classic Cuban Mojito.
Ingredients
6 ounces light rum
12 mint sprigs or spearmint broken apart
6 tablespoons fresh lime juice (Trust me and don't use concentrate - the cocktail will taste horrible)
4 tablespoons sugar
Club soda
4 slices lime
Place ice in a pitcher, then add in the rum, 8 broken up mint sprigs, lime juice, and sugar. Stir well and serve over ice. Top off each glass with a splash of club soda. Garnish each with a slice of lime and a sprig of mint.
This recipe serves 4.
Enjoy!
